C'mon you guys know me.
I play flamenco and soft jazz ~ unless its Research Day THEN its TED NUGENT/ JUDAS PRIEST/ AC-DC or anything that would most likely get me arrested for playing only in Utah.

I actually saw Nazareth in concert in Paris FR 1978 (no not in my private idaho).

Holy cow...I thought I was the only one to listen to Nazareth. I played an 8-track version of 'Hair of the Dog' on a date once (girls choice). She didn't ask me out again after that, although we are still friends. B)

Hehe. Now, the real question isn't whether you're still friends, it's whether or not you still have the 8-track!?

The consensus is UFO. So it will be UFO with one modification. UFO Regional Contest or UFO for short. The word open is not an issue as all the contests are open events.

Given that, I declare UFO October to rock and scream ~ demand hard rock/death metal to play the duration of UROC UFO!

if the zines list it as a regional meet, and it is a regional meet, i dont see the harm in calling it anything we like...i would put my vote for UFO, it is out there a little bit...at very least out just far enuogh to make people remember it...

just my vote...
