Recently, UROC veteran Bruce Bell proposed a new event to take place at HellFire. Bruce explains "The last 2 Hellfires I saw days with almost no wind at all and thought this would be perfect for breaking some U.S. Records."

As such, UROC is pleased to announce a new NAR sanctioned event that will take place at HellFire on Saturday, August 2nd and Sunday, August 3rd.

Bonneville Rocket Trials

These events are open to all HellFire registered NAR members.

  1. Come see Bruce Bell for a special Rocket Trials flight card and entry form.
  2. Take your model through Hellfire safety check-in.
  3.  Let the RSO and LCO know this is a record attempt.
  4. If the flight is to be a timed event, check to make sure there is a timer available.
  5. If it is an altitude event, check on your altimeter.
  6. Fly your model.
  7. Bring back your model to Bruce Bell AND flight card to be checked.
  8. We will verify if this is a valid record and file for you.

We are excited about the possibility of some new national records being broken in the place that was made for breaking records!
