RockSim Demo Scheduled for Thursday Featured

Dennis Peterson will be providing us with an introduction and demonstration of how to use the RockSim software available from Apogee Rocketry. RockSim is a computer program that allows you to design any size rocket, and then you can simulate its flight to see how high, and how fast it will fly.

You can also use it to find the best rocket motor combinations for your existing kits, and to teach yourself and others about the physics of rocket flight. If you haven't used a computer design program for your rocket projects because you thought it would be too time consuming or difficult then you owe it to yourself to come to the meeting on Thursday and see just how easy designing your rockets can be.

As always, our meeting will begin at 7:00pm on Thursday (June 3rd) and will last for about two hours. In addition to this demonstration we will be discussing the upcoming SanPete County Fly-in and HellFire. The meetings take place at the Salt Lake County Complex located at 2001 South State street. We are in the north building in room N2003.
