New Officers for 2001 Announced

At the February 1st meeting of UROC the officer elections for 2001 were held. The turnout for the meeting was very good with almost every seat in the meeting room occupied by interested parties. The election results were as follows, Neal Baker will be President of UROC for the next year. Dan Holmes will be Vice President, Dot Hunt will continue as Secretary/Treasurer, and Bryan Mogensen will be performing the Equipment Manager duties.Additionally, the Tripoli members voted for the 2001 Prefect.

Ron Weigel will transition from interim to full time prefect for the coming year. This year marks a change in the presidency and vice presidency with both Dale Dillon and Dave Sadler leaving offices.

Dale and Dave have worked together as a team over the past several years and under them, the club has grown and prospered to its current status. The club's future looks bright and hopefully membership will continue to grow and the club will continue on its path to become one of the premier rocketry clubs in the country.Big thanks go out to Dot Hunt for her willingness to take on the job of Secretary/Treasurer once again. It's a hard job with little recognition, but Dot does a great job. Also thanks to Bryan Mogensen for being nice enough to take on the thankless job of Equipment Manager for this year.

Bryan has done his time for the club by being President in the past as well as coordinating LDRS 17. Bryan will do a great job in his new role. Thanks to both of you.
