Update Saturday, Feb. 18, 9:15pm: Mitch has indicated that the conditions at the launch site have deteriorated to the point that the Sunday portion of the February Launch has been cancelled. We'll fly again in March...

Update Saturday, Feb. 18, 8:00am: Mitch texted in from the launch site at 7:42 indicating that there was "No Snow, no wind, and an estimated ceiling to 10,000 feet. The launch is Go.

UROC's February Sport Launch will be held on the weekend of Saturday, February 18. According to UROC President Mitch Adamson,  he has received an update from a  friend in Grantsville indicating that it snowed much less on the other side of the Oquihrrs than it did here on the SLC side. So, unless something changes, the launch is a GO.

Mitch will head out early and call to update the website if a cancellation becomes neccesary. If you need to talk to Mitch directly, you can call him to confirm before heading all the way out (801) 446-7380.

This launch will be held as a misfire alley launch which means you need to bring your launch gear with you. Mitch will have a full set of equipment including nitrous. Scott Ulrey of Just Rockets will also be attending this launch with his goodies for us to buy. Even if you aren't planning on flying, you should make the trip out to pick up all the stuff you need from Scott while he's here.
