The UROC launch scheduled for April 17, 2010 is a Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) insured Research Launch. What does that mean? Well, try the frequently asked questions about a research launch? Read Tripoli's FAQ about research launches. Please note: You have to be a current Tripoli member to fly at this launch. Rules are rules, right? Research is not just about self mixed motor propellant (hint read the rules), and yes you can fly commercial motors within your certification. You may even certify at a research launch!
If you are currently a NAR member and want to launch at a Tripoli research launch you can join TRA. Either bring confirmation that you recently paid and joined TRA on the Tripoli website or you can join at the launch site by finding the Prefect (Tim Boschert). Your current NAR certification will transfer over.
Research safety rules will be in effect.
Please read the official Tripoli Research Launch Rules
Tripoli members must show a current membership card to fly, NO Exceptions!
