March Launch Will be Breezy at Best... Featured

pioneer06launchThe National Weather Service posted an urgent alert for a significant part of the state including the Frank Hunt Field launch site. While the sport launch is still going ahead be aware that the launch may be scrubbed early in the day depending on the winds. As anyone who has flown at the launch site is aware, the winds almost always pick up as the day goes on.

When the really bad winds hit is really just a function of the front moving in and how fast it is coming. So, please be aware that the launch is still a go, but, it could be scrubbed early or completely based on the conditions on-site. Check this website for further details or call our Activity Hotline at 801-893-1074.
