Busy Weekend for UROC Featured

UROC Rocketeers have a busy weekend! Due to the poor weather on thje 17th the March launch was rescheduled for this coming weekend (March 24). Although the weather appears like it's going to be fairly good, the wind is expected to make an appearance around noon, hence shutting flight operations down. So, get out to the launch site early, volunteer to help set the range up (and tear it down) and have some fun!  Because this was our St.Patrick's day launch  we are holding a pot luck at the launch. You are invited to bring a dish of anykind to share with the other rocketeers.

When the launch is over, head in to Salt Lake and join the rest of the Nerds at SLCNerd. Make sure to come by the UROC display and say "Hi". SLC Nerd will begin around 2:00 and the activities will go through the day, into the night. You may come and go as you please but it is definitely something worth checking out. If you are a member of UROC and interested in going to SLC Nerd we do have some discounted tickets available (normal price is $10.00). Just contact Neal for more details.
