We are pleased to announce that Joe Hepworth will be taking over as the Tripoli Prefect for UROC, Tripoli Utah 006.
Joe has been a member of UROC for almost 15 years and is a Tripoli Level 3 flyer. After recently returning from a year+ long service mission in Japan, Joe is right back in the game and actively involved with the club. He also regularly makes the trip to Argonia, Kansas, for its major launches, giving him experience with high-power rocketry and launch operations beyond our local club.
Joe has considerable experience with rocketry electronics, deployment systems, and RF tracking methods. His technical knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to help and explain things to others will make him an excellent Prefect. He is generous with his time and knowledge, whether helping someone troubleshoot a problem, prepare for a certification flight, or better understand an aspect of the hobby.
