We have two different Junior High Schools who are planning upcoming STEAM/STEM nights and would love to have you there to support STEM/STEAM activities to families who will be attending. At these events we have the opportunity to talk about Rocketry with students and their families. We will setup a table with some panel boards that have photos and general information about rocketry and the basic physics involved. We also have a mix of High Power and Low Power demo rockets that we put on display. Volunteers are welcome to and encouraged to bring their own rockets and electronics to show off.
Volunteers can expect to:
- Answer questions about Rocketry
- Demonstrate how a rocket works
- Talk about motors and motor sizes
