Members of the press should contact the UROC LDRS 39 Organizing committee (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information.
In order to promote the safety of everyone attending LDRS 39 and to avoid unnecessary delays or inconvenience attendees, Tripoli Utah/UROC have established the following program.
Professional video/photographers that wish to gain access to the flight line perimeter must purchase a special Media identification vest from UROC at a cost of $35. If you don't have a vest purchased from us you will not be allowed on the range.
Only professional photographers will be allowed on the flight line. You must complete an "LDRS 39 Media Access Request Form" at least 30 days prior to the start of LDRS 39 specifying which publication or company you represent “Freelance is not acceptable.”
Complete the form and mail your $35 to:
UROC - LDRS 39
PO Box 26584
Salt Lake City, UT 84126
You will be able to pick-up your Media vest and badge at registration when you arrive at the launch site. Control of media on the flight line will be the responsibility of the on-duty Launch Control Officer and the Launch Director. Failure to comply with their direction will result in the immediate revocation of media access privileges without a refund.
The Utah Rocket Club reserves the right to limit the per-company number of media personnel and the number of media personnel on the flight line at any given time.
